In the wintertime, work does not stop in the Andrzej and Szymon Nowakowski nursery in Żdżary 

It is a season of graft cuttings, and pruning shoots in the butwood orchard, which is planted on a best quality base material from Naktuinbow in the Netherlands, Baden-Wruttenberg in Germany and OEMS in Prusy Poland. Thanks to that nurseries may be certain that such material maintains best qualities of same variety, is healthy and virus-free. 

Grafts are sorted in 3 thickness groups, bundled and put in palette boxes to be kept in the chiller until they are grafted...

This year I have bought sweet cherry trees. The trees are nice and worth the price. They already have buds, and I hope that soon begin to bear fruit. This year I will also buy in addition another batch of sweet cherry trees on Gisela.
